Voices of Seon
An online reading and reflection circle
Voices of Seon is an online reading and reflection group dedicated to exploring the great voices of the Korean Buddhist tradition through both classical and modern texts. Together, we read selections from influential teachers, monastics, scholars, and practitioners, then gather for open reflection and discussion in a relaxed and welcoming space. All sessions are held online and everyone is welcome to join. No homework or reading in advance is required.

What to Expect
Participants take turns reading the text out loud, with the option to pause for questions or reflections at the end of each paragraph or section. The discussion is facilitated by Dohasa’s Practice Leader, Alex Carroll, who brings experience in meditation practice and Buddhist studies. Each meeting ends with time for open discussion.
Author visits
Contemporary authors may be invited to join us for a discussion after we finish reading the text. This offers participants an opportunity to engage directly with living authors and deepen their understanding. See below for scheduled guest author visits
Suggested Donation
Participation is free for members of Dohasa Zen Group.
Non-members are asked to make a suggested donation of NOK 80 per session. Click here for membership info.
